Luka Dončić
Luka showed as soon as after his first few practices for Union Olimpija at the age of 8 what kind of a legendary player he would become. That is why, already at the age of 13, he signed a five-year contract with the great Real Madrid and continued showcasing his skills there, which led him to become the youngest player in the history of the Real Madrid professional team during the 15/16 season at the age of 16. He soon won awards for the best young player in the Spanish league and Euroleague, and in the 17/18 season he shined as the MVP of both competitions in which he led his team to championship titles. By coming to Dallas he continued with his impressive performances so he won the Rookie of the year award and signet a contract with Jordan brand.
Spalding
Spalding, one of the largest manufacturers of sports equipment, was established in 1876 in Chicago by Albert Goodwill Spalding, who was the professional baseball player for Boston Red Socks. After the end of his active sports career, he managed to successfully combine his great knowledge of baseball with a head for business and thus Spalding has quickly become one of the leaders in the branch. It begun with the ball for baseball and soon followed the gloves. A decade later followed the first ball for American football, made of high quality leather. In 1891, when Dr. James Naismith invented basketball, the first players had to use the soccer ball, until the first Spalding ball for basketball was introduced three years later. Not long afterwards, this ball was written down in the rules of the game as the official ball of this newly invented sport.
