Next week brings us a release of the new model from the most influential line of performance footwear in basketball history.

While it offers innovation in technology, it simultaneously goes back to the basics by removing everything that an athlete doesn’t need. For 18 months, the creators were optimizing and testing their new creation. It all started with two reference points: 1. making the shoe lighter and 2. increase agility by improving traction and stability.

They surely succeeded in both aspects as Jordan 34 is one of the lightest Jordan models in the history and the sole features a new herringbone traction pattern that promises a new performance benchmark in this field.

Another game-changing technology is the Jordan Eclipse Plate. Designed for smooth transition from midfoot to forefoot, it forms a cove, which allows the Zoom Air unit in the forefoot section to compress and move without restraint.

The result is a very pure yet stable form of a basketball shoe that offers more control to change direction, sprint and jump.

We’re more than excited about the release and so are the Jordan athletes Zion Williamson, Jayson Tatum and Rui Hachimura. You will be able to test and get this shoe from Wednesday, September 25, at 9:00.
