The only two players in the history of basketball who released 17 signature shoe models were LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
Knowing that MJ was an outstanding player, it only proves that LeBron is doing something extraordinary as well. His excellence also reflects in his latest signature shoe, the Nike Lebron XVII, which will impress his fans with a couple of upgrades.
The first one is the sole which provides support with one extra large Air Max unit in the heel and two independent Air Zoom pods in the front of the shoe. This hybrid cushioning allows the player to jump high and not be afraid of the landing.
The second improvement is a new technology used for the upper, the Knitposite. A step further from the Battleknit that is used on XVIs, it offers even more stability, stretches on the right parts and is even more durable.
A special area of the shoe will be the tongue part, which was left open and will serve as LeBron’s storytelling platform.
