The new Kyrie 6s are coming to our (web)store! If you are a big fan of the Kyrie 5s, you’ll be excited to hear that the new model is based on the previous one, they only added some upgrades that you’ll love.
CONTACT WITH THE SURFACE
The forefoot Zoom Turbo cushioning stays the same, providing enough cushioning while allowing the contact with the surface. The 360 Traction lay-out wrapping the foot up to the sides and the lowered sole also work towards better feel of the floor.
LOCKDOWN
They added more padding around the ankle area and under the tongue which add up to greater stability. Another completely new element is the midfoot strap which will hold your and Kyrie’s feet in place.
DESIGN
The shoes are supposedly inspired by the Air Yeezy 2s that Kyrie wore all the time since their release in 2010 and we can indeed spot some similarities in design. The materials used are picked with thought; leather for durability and fresh look, mesh for ventilation and suede for a more prestige look.
Even though the Preheat collection was full of wild color combinations, Kyrie Irving decided that the first colorway will be classically black. Don’t miss the great details like the sole with his mother’s signature, the all-seeing eye and the healing hands which express only a small part of this great player.
