In addition to the classic 5on5 game, basketball has always been played on the streets. In many ways, this is a relentless and fast-paced game that shows what each player is made of. And this is the most apparent when only two players face each other on the court!
What happens if we organize a tournament with sixteen top players in a 1-on-1 game? Who will be the one to beat 15 opponents and take home the grand prize of 1,500 EUR?
One ball, one basket, one prize … a raw game where everyone can only count on themselves!
We will look for the answer at the international GROSBASKET STREET ELITE 1-on-1 tournament, where 16 players from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and the Czech Republic will meet face to face. As players who have already proven themselves in 3×3 basketball, the competitors will get a special invitation to participate in the tournament. These are excellent players and we promise you can expect to watch the game of basketball on the highest level! How will they do without the other two players? And who will be the one to become the winner of the first Grosbasket Street Elite tournament?
Besides awesome basketball performances, we are also preparing a lot of treats for fans of sneakers, good music and food!

The fight will not only take place on the court, but also on stage! At 20:00, 8 freestylers will prove their strength on the microphone on the topic of basketball. The event will be held by rapper Emkej, there will be an expert jury which will determine the best one (the members’ names stay a surprise for now!), and the only person still missing is you!
We know we’ve already convinced you that you just have to be there, at the Ljubljana Grosbasket store on September 3, but we’re not done yet! 😊 On this day we will also organize some in-store raffles.
