Details

The Michael Jordan led Chicago Bulls came into the '96-'97 season as defending Champions and ready to dominate with a stacked roster.
Losing only 13 games the entire season, the Bulls did not disappoint. With Jordan leading the way averaging around 30 points per game from start to finish, three steals, the Bulls had little trouble making their way to the Finals, where they would face off against the Utah Jazz. These NBA Finals produced one of the more famous playoff performances from Michael Jordan in game five, aka the Flu Game. Rising from bed hours before tip-off, Jordan's severe flu-like symptoms would not stop him from logging 44 minutes to go along with 38 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, one blocked shot and a crucial Bulls victory. The iconic photograph of Jordan being helped off the court by star teammate Scottie Pippen is one that will never be forgotten.

MITCHELL & NESS

In 1904, Frank Mitchell and Charles Ness met up in Philadelphia to establish Mitchell & Ness Sporting Goods. At first, they specialized in stringing tennis racquets, constructing custom-made golf clubs and making uniforms for local Philly baseball and football teams. In 1933, the Mitchell & Ness label made their NFL debut when they started making uniforms for the Philadelphia Eagles, a partnership that would continue for 30 years. Their success continued in this field till 1985, when Mitchell & Ness received a request that helped them pivot in a new direction. A customer inquired about making repairs to his game-worn 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates vest and his game-worn 1949 St. Louis Browns jersey. This sparked an idea that would change everything. Today, Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co. offers authentic vintage jerseys and apparel collections for the MLB, NFL, NBA, NCAA and MLS.
